Russian speaker of parliament to improve legislative efficiency

Speaker of the Lower Chamber of the Russian Parliament Sergey Naryshkin has attended the two-day international scientific conference “From Ancient Russia to the Russian Federation: The History of Russian Statehood” at the Moscow State University of L.M. Lomonosov.He emphasized that one of the main goals of Russian history is lessons of the past.

The conference is attended by the Patriarch of Moscow and All-Russia Kirill, head of the MSU Victor Sadovnichy, head of the RSUH Yefim Pivovar, head of the Baku branch of the MSU Nargiz Pashayeva, assistant professor of the History Department of MSU PhD in Science Ismail Agakishiyev and Director of the North-South Center for Political Analysis and Editor-in-Chief of VK Alexey Vlasov.

Naryshkin noted that Russia will mark the 20th anniversary of the Constitution in 2013. He said that the parliament needs to improve efficiency to meet social expectations.
