Georgian CEC counts over half of votes – Georgian Dream still leading

The Georgian Central Electoral Committee (CEC) has counted data from 1773 electoral districts (46.9 per cent) out of 3766.

According to preliminary information the Georgian Dream opposition coalition is maintaining its lead with 54.1 percent.
The ruling United National Movement holds second position with 41.03 percent.

The Giorgi Targamadze Christian-Democratic Movement ranks third with 2.08 per cent, Shalva Natelashvili - Georgian Labour Party - fourth with 1.29 per cent.

Parliamentary elections were held in Georgia on October 1. Around 14 parties and two political blocs participated in the elections.
