Colonel-General Alexander Galkin will supervise inspections of the Southern Military District to check its readiness for winter, RIA Novosti cites Colonel Igor Gorbul, spokesman of the district.
Soldiers will have tests in shooting, tactics, engineering, physical, medical and special training, driving at over 20 ranges and training centers of the district.
Inspections will be concluded with ratings for military bases.
