Increasing dollar rate provokes disorders in Iran

 

Local shopkeepers have closed their stores at currency markets in Iran as crowds of people march in Tehran, burning tires and shouting out anti-governmental slogans, Trend reports.

Mass disorders on Wednesday ended after illegal currency exchangers.

Speculators were raided at the Ferdossi Quarter. Some people exchanging cash started throwing stones at police officers. Some people were arrested, RIA Novosti reports.
