Five killed as Syrian shell strikes Turkish town

 

Five people were killed and at least 13 were wounded Oct. 3 when a Syrian shell hit the Akçakale district of eastern Şanlıurfa, daily Hurriyet reported. 

 

One of the killed were a 6 year-old child, according to officials. 

 

Two of the wounded are policemen, reports said. 

 

The shell reportedly struck a house.
