The US alleged on Thursday that Iran has been blocking radio and TV signals in the Middle East and the Gulf Region, ITAR-TASS reports.
Iran blocked Eutelsat services for Voice of America, Free Europe and Radio Farda. BBC was blocked in some South-East European states and Trans-Caucasus.
Experts believe that the blocking started after the civil disorders over the collapse at the currency markets.
Iran put Voice of America and BBC radio stations on the list of hostile organizations in 2010 for supporting opposition and provoking disorders.
