Syrian border guards have killed a group of mercenaries infiltrating Syria from Turkey at the Hirbet-el-Jouz District of the Idlib Province, ITAR-TASS reports.
A dangerous terrorist nicknamed Hamza Muhammed Akbar of the Jebhat an-Nusra extremist group was found dead among the militants.
The Suleiman el-Halyabi Block of Aleppo was freed from the rebels. Beb-Nasr, Sahhur and Salah-ed-Din are still occupied by opposition. Shooting continues at Baadin, Neyrab Bridge and the Fatima Mosque. Dozens of terrorist vehicles were destroyed.
The Syrian military pursue militants at Kudsia, Dzhdeyda-Artuz and Sakba. 17 rebels were killed, others were detained. The military lost 8 soldiers. The Syrian forces are clearing the Tell-Shehab District on the border of Jordan in Daraa (110 km away from Damascus). Military operations continue in Homs, Hama and Deyr-ez-Zor at Euphrates.
