EU foreign policy chief to visit Kazakhstan in November

The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Catherine Ashton, is going to visit Kazakhstan for the first time in November 2012, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said following a meeting of Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Volkov with EU Special Representative for Central Asia, Patricia Flor, Trend informs.

It was also reported that issues of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EU in Central Asia were discussed during the meeting. Special attention was paid to the preparation of the ministerial meeting in the "Central Asia - European Union" format in Bishkek, Novosti-Kazakhstan said.
