Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Monday that the state program on development of the North Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) should be presented to the government before December 1, 2012, RIA Novosti reports.
The state program for development of the NCFD until 2025 needs subprograms for each republic, Medvedev told Alexander Khloponin, Vice Premier and Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the NCFD.
The Russian PM reminded that the Russia’s South federal purpose program increased financing of North Caucasus development to about 13 billion rubles. The sum will total 6.6 billion rubles next year.
