Azerbaijan's ruling party Yeni Azerbaican held meetings in its
local organisations to elect the new ruling bodies, Trend reports
referring to the Deputy executive secretary, Siyavush Novruzov.
According to him, there were some personnel changes in the local organization.
Speaking about the next party congress, Novruzov said that it will take
place on the eve of the presidential elections of 2012.
"It is known that Yeni Azerbaican proposed one candidate the - current
president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. All party members, as well as
representatives of the Azerbaijani society, want to see the current
president re-elected," he said.
