The Crimean parliament will study the process of merging Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory into a single European region, Speaker of Parliament Vladimir Constantinov said, Yuga.ru reports.
Formation of a single European region would improve economic, investment, social and cultural development. The region would have united financial resources for projects, business development, invitation of investments.
Ukraine has a trans-border cooperation program for 2011-2015. 10 regions of the country are part of 16 European regions: Dnepr, Slobozhanshchina, Yaroslavna, Karpaty, Bug, Donbass and others.
