Iranian president to finance higher education centers despite money shortages

 

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has urged the government at the 6th session of the Iranian Student Assembly to reduce financing of state organizations and structures and continue supporting higher education centers, Trend reports.

Financing of state organizations and companies dropped by 25%, some experienced a total cut of funds. A group of Iranian MPs have started collecting signatures to initiate an impeachment to Ahmadinejad over devaluation of national currency.

94 MPs have given their approval. The issue will be raised at the parliament at the end of the week.
