Armenian president refuses to follow demands of Prosperous Armenia

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan does not plan to fulfill the demands of Prosperous Armenia, Armenia Today reports.

The party demanded 30% of seats at the government, 6 ministry seats and the right to present their own candidate for prime minister. The proposals were made in exchange for support of the president at the next elections.

Sargsyan agreed to give 4 ministerial portfolios. He also offered Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan or any of his supporters to become a vice premier.

The president’s attitude has recently changed. He believes that Tsarukyan is trying to gain extra time.
