Georgian Dream to return parliament from Kutaisi

 

Vouchers worth 1000 lari ($602) promised by the United National Movement for 4 years will not be handed out, as stated by David Onoprishvili, a candidate to chair the parliamentary budget committee, Business Georgia reports.

The official said that the new government will improve social protection and help open new workplaces. Georgian Dream plans to increase pensions to the level of minimal living wage, 160 lari ($96).

The coalition plans to return the parliament moved by President Mikheil Saakashvili to Kutaisi two months ago back. The first session of the parliament is expected to be held in Kutaisi, nonetheless, Interfax reports.
