Resolution on Azerbaijan presented at UN General Assembly

A new resolution project on Azerbaijan was presented at the 64th session of the General Assembly of the UN, APA reports. The document on observing human rights in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan consists of 10 points.


The project approves, reminds of and concerns the Hague convention, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the declaration protecting cultural property in armed conflicts, the resolution of the General Assembly of 20th December 1993 No 48/114 (extraordinary aid to refugees and forced migrants in Azerbaijan), 7th September 2006 No 60/285 (concerning occupied territories of Azerbaijan) and 14th March 2008 No 62/243, resolutions No 822, 853, 874, 884 of the Security Council, and the report of the OSCE Minsk Group.
