Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has congratulated billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili of the Georgian Dream coalition on winning the parliamentary polls of Georgia, Trend reports.
Erdogan and Ivanishvili had a telephone conversation last night. They discuss development of relations and expressed confidence that cultural and trade ties will stimulate progress.
Georgia held parliamentary polls on October 1. 14 parties and 2 political blocs took part in the elections. Georgian Dream got 83 seats of parliament, the United National Movement got 67.
