Azerbaijan has skipped the International Mine Countermeasures Exercise 2012 naval drills in the Gulf, APA reports.
30 states, including the US, are taking part in the drills. Kazakhstan is an observer of the training.
There were other drills held in the Gulf on September 23-27 to practice clearing of Iranian mines.
