Armenia will receive a $600-million beneficial loan from the anti-crisis fund of EurAsEC as a loan, Armenia Today reports. The decision was made at the session of the Interstate council of EurAsEC on july 5th in Astana
Armenia has the status of an observer in EurAsEC.
Kyrgyzstan will also ask the fund for finances for reconstruction work in the Osh and Jalalabad regions that were hit by ethnic violence in June. Acting Kyrgyz Minister of Finances Temir Sariyev said earlier that the regions will need $450 million. Tajikistan will be granted a loan of $90 million.
