Russia may play the decisive role in settling the Iranian nuclear problem and the Syrian civil war, Israeli Speaker of Parliament Reuven Rivlin said in Moscow on Friday, RIA Novosti reports.
The Israeli MP believes that the war in the Middle East may grow.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted that bloodshed can be stopped only if everyone stops armed assault and starts negotiations. He emphasized that Syrian radical opposition was discouraged from dialogue by foreign forces.
