Kazakhstan awards Golden Eagle Order to Turkish president

 

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has awarded his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul with the Altyn Kyran Order (Golden Eagle Order), the highest award in Kazakhstan, Gazeta.ru reports.

The award was given for contribution to development of cooperation between Turkic-speaking states.

The Golden Eagle Order was developed in 1995. It is awarded for special merit for Kazakhstan.
