16 parties to participate in Krasnodar region legislature elections

16 political parties are going to take part in the coming elections to the local legislative body in Russia's Krasnodar Territory, Interfax reports.

All in all 356 people will run for the local legislature as representatives of political parties, 301 more will take part in the campaign as independent candidates, the news agency cites the electoral commission as saying.
