It's unfair of permanent UN Security Council members to decide fate of other countries - Erdogan

The UN should conduct internal reforms, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in his speech at the Istanbul conference, Turkish channel TRT Haber reports on Saturday.

Erdogan noted that it is unfair that five countries, permanent members of the UN Security Council, decide the fate of other countries.

He added that the Security Council is still silent about what is happening in Syria.

"The UN is losing its credibility by turning a blind eye to what is happening in Syria," Erdogan said.
