Irakly Alasania, a candidate for Defense Minister of Georgia, said that the Armed Forces needed total reforming, Vzglyad reports.
The official said that public and parliamentary control will be improved, cases of all people illegally dismissed from the military will be reconsidered, professionals will return.
Alasania said that the Chief of Joint Staff appointed by President Mikheil Saakashvili will be replace. Most members of the National Security Council will come from Georgian Dream, as Alasania.
The military reserve system collapsed after war with Russia, the official notes. He added that reservists were to be used against political opponents.

Kalandadze commanded the 4th brigade during the war with Russia in 2008. It suffered the biggest casualties, lost 26 tanks, 9 armored trucks, all artillery.
