Iran builds missile-carrying drone

 

Iranian specialists have developed a drone capable of carrying missiles, as stated by Brigadier-General Farzad Ismaili, Commander of the Hatam al-Anbia base air defense base, Trend reports.

The new drone called Hazem will be used to protect the aerospace, engage in monitoring and scouting operations and even transportation of cargo.

The drone will not be armed, although it can be if necessary.

Iran has achieved great success in the defense sector and started own production of weapons. Tehran said that it was not a threat for other states and that its doctrine was based on containment.
