Ara Abramyan, President of the Union of Armenians in Russia, has been re-elected as the President of the World Armenian Congress (WAC) at the second session of WAC in Yerevan today, News Armenia reports.
147 delegates from 17 countries of the world attended the meeting. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Armenian Catholicos Karekin II attended the talks.
The World Armenian Congress was formed in October 2003 as part of the Union of Armenian Public Associations and is an international organization.
