New sanctions may hit six mediators of Iran talks

The Russian Foreign Ministry says that the new sanctions passed by the European Union on October 15 are an obstacle in the negotiation process with Iran and hit the unity of six mediators, RIA Novosti reports.

The Foreign Ministry says that unilateral sanctions bypassing the UNSC cannot be called a legitimate instrument to resolve such international problems and cause aggravations instead.

Russia will continue efforts to organize a new round of talks with Iran, the ministry adds.
