NATO will have military drills, codenamed Cyber Coalition 2012, to practice cyber wars with hypothetical aggressors from Africa on November 13-16, Kommersant reports.

Russia, China and Iran are viewed as potential cyber enemies.

According to the scenario, Hungary and Estonia suffer from a mass cyber attack from Africa in a conflict with NATO.

The Pentagon chief has recently said that cyber attacks may be worse that September 11, 2001.

The Russian Defense Ministry has a tender for development of cyber weapons. Valery Yashenko, deputy head of the Institute for Problems of Information Security of the MSU, said that cyber weapons may be used for attacks and defense. While preparing for a cyber war, the US and Russia develop mechanism to resist attacks. Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama planned to sign an agreement to form a hotline at a meeting in Mexico in June.
