The highest award of the Republic of North Ossetia and Alania "To the Glory of Ossetia" was presented by Representative Plenipotentiary of the Republic to the President of Russian Federation, Alexander Totoonov, to the Head of the Russian Academy of Arts, Zurab Tsereteli, for his monument to the victims of Beslan, RIA Novosti reports.
The monument was opened in Moscow on June 1th, 2004.
