President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso invited Bidzina Ivanishvil to Brussels – one of the leaders of “Georgian Dream” David Usupashvili told journalists after meeting with Euro Commissionaire Štefan Füle, Georgia Online reports.
“Mr. Fule handed official invitation from Brussels, from Manuel Barroso to Bidzina Ivanishvili and it looks like his visit will be planned in the nearest future,” said David Usupashvili and added that Bidzina Ivanishvili will meet heads of European organizations during his visit.
As for the meeting with Mr. Füle at Ivanishvili’s business center, according to Usupashvili, the meeting was held in a very friendly environment and the topic of discussion were negotiations between Georgia and EU.
