Vladimir Garkun, Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, said that the free trade zone treaty may be ratified by all states in 2012.
Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Ukraine signed the treaty on October 18, 2011. Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have not ratified it yet. Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan plan to join the treaty in 2013.
