Turkey urges peace talks in Syria

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has urged the sides of Syrian conflict to start peace talks and hopes that the agreement they reach will be fulfilled, Trend reports.

The conflict in Syria has been ongoing since March 2011. The UN says 30,000 people died, over 230,000 became refugees and 3 million need humanitarian aid. Syrian authorities say they face well-armed terrorists.
