Knyshov to quit parliament

 

Alexey Knyshov, a member of the United Russia Party suspected of having business, has decided to resign, Interfax reports.

The Russian parliament has received materials of the prosecutor General’s Office stating that Knyshov was managing a business company, Andrey Vorobyov of United Russia said.

Spokesman of the Russian Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin said that the MP’s resignation does not mean that the case would be closed.
