Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov has arrived in Tehran today, invited by his Iranian counterpart Hosein Amir-Abdollahian.
Bogdanov is a special presidential representative for the Middle East. He will discuss interregional development and settlement of the Syrian problem. The official plans to meet Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi.
Amir-Abdollahian visited Moscow and met Russian President Vladimir Putin in August.
