New Georgian parliament to investigate work of previous

David Usupashvili, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, said that the work of the old parliament before October 1 will be investigated, Vzglyad reports.

Some members of the United National Movement may undergo a trial. The investigation will not be limited with punishments for only 1-2 MPs. Usupashvili promised a detailed investigation.

Leader of the Republican Party of Georgia David Usupashvili became the Speaker of Parliament. He won 88 votes. Georgian Dream of Bidzina Ivanishvili has 85 seats parliamentary seats while the United National Movement of President Mikheil Saakashvili has 65.
