Armenia’s Free Democrats lose Heritage support

The Free Democrats and Heritage will be independent at the parliamentary polls in Armenia, Heritage leader Khachatur Kokobelyan said. He added that Ruben Akopyan was advised to pass authority to Zarui Postanjyan.

The two parties started disputes about two months ago, when Rafi Ovanissyan, head of the Heritage Party (3 seats of parliament) quit the parliament and wanted leader of Free Democrats (2 seats) to do the same. Kokobelyan accused his opponent of taking over authority.
