Today the speaker of the Iranian parliament, Ali Larijani, told the students of the Scientific Technological University of Iran that the Iranian nuclear program is only an excuse for the West to show itself in the international arena. According to Larijani, Iran's opponents are using the nuclear issue to prevent Iran’s development in the region.
“They think only about hatred and hegemony, using the nuclear issue as an instrument. If we stop our program, they will find something else, for example, violation of human rights,” Larijani said.
