OSCE MG co-chairs prepare Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers’ meeting

The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, mediating in the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, intend to organize a meeting between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia this week in Paris. The exact date is unknown. The Russian co-chair in the Minsk Group, Igor Popov, told Azerbaijani media that negotiations with both sides are going on. The diplomat hopes that the meeting will take place this week.

 

After the meeting the co-chairs plan to visit the region. Igor Popov emphasized the importance of continuing negotiations on a settlement of the conflict.
