Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov believes that the blast at the checkpoint on the Ossetian-Ingush border was meant to aggravate the situation in the region and relations between the two republics.
The official reminded that the blast happened right before marking of the 20th anniversary of the events in the Prigorodny District of North Ossetia. He insists that organizers of the blast wanted to cause tensions in the North Caucasus.
The blast made by a suicide bomber at the checkpoint this morning resulted in a police officer killed and four others injured.
