First Informative Caucasus TV to request parliamentary assistance

Staff of the First Informative Caucasus TV Channel has met members of the new Georgian parliament in Kutaisi.

Khatuna Saginadze, the Chief Producer of the information service of the channel, said that they will protest against closing of the channel and want an independent audit for the related decision of the Public Broadcaster of Georgia.

The channel was closed on October 20 due to lack of wages and disconnection from the satellite. The channel was launched on January 25, 2011. 70% of its content is news of Georgia, Russia and other countries.
