Scouts of the 102nd Russian military base in Gyumri (Armenia) have captured a command post during final military drills of 2012, RIA Novosti reports cites Col. Igor Gorbul, head of the press service of the South Caucasus Military District of Russia.
The command post was located at the big Fortress where Russian forces in Trans-Caucasus are stationary.
Troops were dropped in using a helicopter. About 100 scouts and 20 vehicles were used during the drills.
