Russian opposition protests against Razvozzhayev's arrest

The Coordination Council of the Russian opposition has issued a statement concerning Leonid Razvozzhayev's arrest. The text of the statement was published by council member Alexey Navalny on Wednesday.

The council calls upon the Russian authorities to stop pressuring the opposition and violating Russian laws, international practices and human rights.

The council also says that it will demand that all those guilty of kidnapping and torturing Razvozzhayev should be prohibited from entering the territory of the European Union and the United States and that their assets in these countries should be frozen.
