Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban said that Hungary wanted to import gas from Azerbaijan and Georgia, RBC reports.
He noted that Nabucco was not interested in Hungary. The PM believes that the country cannot rely on renewable energy, except geothermal sources. 85% of Hungarian population uses gas for heating purchased in Russia. Gas will soon arrive from Slovakia from the northern part of Europe. The pipeline will be launched in late 2013. Gas is also available in Romania.
