Ivanishvili wants to start a dialogue with Russia to end the crisis of relations. He wants to become the consolidator of Caucasus interests and improvement of ties with Armenia, Azerbaijan and turkey.
The candidate for PM wants to de-monopolize economy, agriculture, small and medium business, carry out reforms for pensions and social support, healthcare.
The new government plans to implement different mechanisms of integration for national minorities, protect cultural diversity, languages, traditions and values. Georgia may form a multi-language education system.
The advertising market will be de-monopolized by the National Commission for Communications and Public Broadcaster.
The State Security Service will be formed as an independent part of the Interior Ministry. The ministry will keep the department for police and the department for border guards running.
Ivanishvili approved the idea of President Mikheil Saakashvili to make local authorities electable. They will have expanded authority to manage property and finances.
