Abkhaz president criticizes international humanitarian organizations

 

Abkhaz President Alexander Ankvab met Manuel Bessler, head of the department for humanitarian aid of the Swiss Foreign Ministry, in Sukhumi.

Ankvab said that Abkhazia needed economic support. He believes that international humanitarian organizations are not impartial when calculating the needs of Abkhazia.

The Abkhaz president noted that international organizations showed great strive to protect Georgian interests. They should take the responsibility for what Georgia had done in Abkhazia, he says.

Ankvab wants humanitarian efforts to be focus in the Galsky District.

Abkhaz Prime Minister Leonid Lakerbaya and Foreign Minister Vyacheslav Chirikba met the Swiss delegation on Thursday.
