Gazprom to reconsider Central Asia policy

Russian state-owned gas-producing giant Gazprom says it is going to reconsider its policy with regards to Central Asia. 

Gazprom Export Ltd, Gazprom's subsidiary company, is now interested in forecast gas production, consumption and export in Central Asia. The company has even said it's looking for a competent adviser.

The Russian company says gas-producing Central Asian nations are more interested in cooperation with China than Russia and this situation requires serious monitoring.
