The mandate of Ahmed Bilalov, a candidate for the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Territory, has been passed to Olga Rashchektayeva, Yuga reports.
The election results of the regional parliament were essential for Bilalov as a member of the Federation Council representing the Krasnodar Territory.
Media reported in late September that Bilalov was planning to quit the Federation Council in order to focus on development of the North Caucasus Tourism Cluster. Bilalov denied the rumours.
