Turkey will not carry out work on Armenian border

The Turkish government does not plan talks or work on the border with Armenia while Azerbaijan remains until Armenian occupation, the governor of Kars, Ahmet Kara, said, TRT reports.

Kars is a city and an administrative unit in the north-east of Turkey, bordering with Armenia.

The Turkish agency Cihan reported that the Interior Ministry of Turkey had sent a request to the administrative centers of Kars and Igdyr asking for approximate dates of preparatory work if the border between the two countries opens.

Kara said that the preparation process would take a month, Turkish media reported.
