Joint session of commissions for Chechen-Ingush borders to be held this week

 

The commission for administrative borders of Chechnya and Ingushetia will have a joint session at the end of this week, as stated by Chechen Speaker of Parliament Dukuvakha Abdurakhmanov at a session of the Chechen commission, Yuga.ru reports.

Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that he had all documents proving that the Sunzhenskaya and part of the Malgobekskaya Districts belonged to Chechnya.

Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov said in LJ that attempts to reconsider borders could cause conflicts. Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasian Federal District Alexander Khliponin demanded the disputes to stop and working groups to be formed for the matter. The Ingush commission has been operating since 2009, the Chechen since this summer.
