British millionaire pleads guilty selling military equipment to Iran

Millionaire Christopher Tappin has admitted attempts to sell batteries for surface-to-air systems to Iran in 2005-2007 at the court of Texas, RIA Novosti reports.

Such actions were a threat to the national security of the US and its allies.

Tappin may be fined with $11,000 and jailed for 33 months.
