Turkish army launches special operation against militants on Iraqi border

The Turkish army has started a large-scale special operation against militants of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party on Thursday, the Sabah newspaper reported.

The operation is being held on Kato Mountain in Hakkari Province near the Iraqi border. Heavy military equipment, military helicopters and fighter jets are involved in the operation.
